Success - Reaching Your Full Potential - By JerDon and Sara Gibbs

By JerDon and Sara Gibbs

Despite all of our differences, all mankind has one thing in common, POTENTIAL and lots of it.
In times of strife or uncertainty, it is simple to beat yourself to death and to think you have no greatness at all. Success can be defined by Reaching Your Full Potential

So I have compiled a short, simple to-do list with words of inspiration from great thinkers who have recognized their potential as a reminder for those who have forgotten amidst the every day bump and grind, how to recognize their power within:

What will seem difficult, is recalling your potential for greatness that lies deep within you. The first step is committing to 20-30 minutes of calm Reflection everyday.

#1. Reflect on your life

Consider your past, where you are at present, and your future. Ask yourself , what am I able to? What are my strengths? Where do I need to be in five years, ten years, 100 years? And so on.

Now, open up your mind and Think, Analyze, Ponder, Imagine, Visualize, and Dream. In the coursework of this time of Reflection you will come across great Realizations and Epiphanies.

And will experience new heights of inner understanding like never before.

Make a list, look at it often, for it will help you to keep headed in the right direction.

The objective of this whole process is to capture these thoughts and preserve them on your Lets-Reflect profile.

This is key. Every negative thought that you replay in your mind is like, an anchor holding you back. Therefore keep yourself from negativity at all cost.

#2. Become an Optimist.

Inside every setback lies a chance! Always find the positive in every situation.

~ What seemingly to us a bitter pill are often just our blessings to come in disguise ~Oscar Wilde~

~ Lots of of life's failures come to individuals who did not recognize how close they were to success when they gave up ~Thomas Edison~
(It took 69,998 times to get his light bulb to work)

#3. Set a Objective.

~ A objective is a dream with a deadline
~Napoleon Hill~

~ Dream LARGE, the more you dream, the farther you will get ~Michael Phelps~

~ Goals that are far reaching keep you from being frustrated by short-term failures
~James Funds Penney~
[During the great depression in the 30's JCP found himself bankrupt, spouse divorced him and was put in a mental institution for years. He later became the wealthiest and most successful businessman of his time]

Goals give your life direction and purpose. Without them you are drifting through existence. Do something Bold! Set a lofty objective that stretches you outside your comfort zone.

In case you need to be happy, set a objective that commands your thoughts, liberates your energy, and inspires your hopes.
~Andrew Carnegie~
